These conditions are agreed between Pessoas & Gravuras Unip. Lda., with tax identification number no. 514 028 327, located at Av. Nossa Senhora da Saúde, No. 91, R/C Esq, 3830-468 Gafanha da Encarnação, Portugal and email address simcarimbo@gmail.com, hereinafter referred to as "Sim Carimbo", and any individual or legal entity wishing to make purchases through the website www.simcarimbo.com, hereinafter referred to as "Client".
1. Object and scope of application
These conditions aim to define the general sales conditions established between Sim Carimbo and the Client, from the moment of ordering to the delivery of the goods.
These conditions regulate all the necessary steps to place an order and ensure the follow-up of this transaction between the contracting parties.
By placing an order, the Client fully and completely accepts the Online General Sales Conditions, prices, and products included in the respective transaction.
2. Orders
The Client must place orders online at the website www.simcarimbo.com.
Orders placed during weekends and holidays (in Portugal) will only be processed on the next working day.
All personalized items are made based on the files that the Client provides at the time of purchase.
2.1 Material for order(s) fulfillment
2.1.1 Files
Files must be vectorized and composed only in 1 color and without gradients. The accepted extensions are AI, EPS, and PDF. In the absence of these files, sending an image in PNG or JPEG with the highest possible quality is requested. Image files (JPEG or PNG) with poor quality or that require treatment may have associated costs that will be informed after file analysis.
2.1.2 Graphic composition
If the Client does not agree with the costs associated with image treatment/graphic composition, the order will not be completed, and the total value will be refunded.
2.1.3 Files can be uploaded in the "Upload area" on the website www.simcarimbo.com or sent to simcarimbo@gmail.com, with proper order identification.
2.2 Specifications of personalized items
2.2.1 Personalized stamps
Stamps are made of engraved polymer applied on a wooden base. All our stamps are identified laterally with our brand "Sim Carimbo". They can be cleaned with water or alcohol. For proper maintenance, the stamp should be cleaned immediately after use.
2.2.2 Automatic stamps
Stamps are made of engraved polymer applied on a device with an integrated ink system, self-inking.
2.2.3 High-relief stamps
Made of PLA (polymer from organic origin) and applied on a wooden base.
Our production technique for these stamps has some limitations that require the lines to have a minimum thickness (about 0.5mm).
2.2.4 Printed items
Printed items are personalized on the material indicated on the product page with their respective characteristics. The position of the object relative to the cutting line and color reproduction may have slight differences from the client's expectations. A printed sample can be requested to confirm the approximate colors of the printed item, subject to a previously agreed cost.
2.3 Mock-ups and approval
For custom items, the order will only be confirmed after approval of a digital mock-up. The mock-up will be sent to the email registered with the respective order.
We ask that you carefully confirm all elements of the design, with special attention to the text. The production of customized items only proceeds after approval of the mock-up. Any changes to the mock-up after its approval imply the purchase of a new item. Regarding generic stamps (not personalized), the design is the one presented in the respective product image on the product page.
2.4 Stock and brands
If the product you have purchased is not in stock and there is no possibility of providing it within the expected delivery time, we may send the identical product from the same range, but from a different brand.
3. Delivery
3.1 The production time for personalized products from Sim Carimbo is 6 working days from order confirmation. However, to safeguard against any delays, the maximum production time is 10 working days. We will do our best to produce your products within the stipulated time frame, but we would like to emphasize that the maximum time frame is established as a safety measure. In case of any unforeseen delays, we will contact you to keep you informed of the situation.
The standard production time for "flash stamps" is 1 working day.
Delivery times may vary depending on product availability in stock (especially on special dates such as Christmas) or any unforeseen events that may occur.
In the event that we are unable to meet the proposed deadlines, the customer may cancel the order and be refunded.
3.2 The shipping time is between 1 to 2 working days in mainland Portugal and 3 to 5 working days for the islands. International shipments may take between 2 to 10 working days, depending on the recipient's location.
All orders are shipped via CTT or DPD. Deliveries are made 1 or 2 days after the order is submitted (mainland). If you are not available at the specified address at the time of delivery, a new delivery attempt will be made the next working day, or the package will be available for pickup at a designated carrier's counter.
3.3 Countries/Regions We Ship To
We ship to Portugal (mainland and islands), countries within the European Union, and the rest of the world upon consultation.
3.4 Unforeseen Circumstances
3.4.1 We reserve the right to change the shipping price of an order with proper information and customer consent in the event of any unforeseen circumstances, such as an error in the calculation of package weight or any additional costs imposed by the transportation company (e.g., special shipments, palletized orders, rush fees, etc.). If the customer does not agree to this change, the total order value will be refunded.
3.4.2 Delays in the transportation of orders are the sole responsibility of the contracted shipping companies and are beyond our control."
4. Payment
Choose your favorite products and add them to the cart. After completing this selection, click on "View Cart" or on the corresponding symbol in the upper right corner of the online store to complete the purchase order and payment to validate it. Fill in all the necessary data with special attention to the delivery address.
Sim Carimbo offers four payment methods:
At checkout, in the payment information, you can select the "Manual Payment" option to access the Multibanco or MbWay system.
Multibanco (ATM Portugal): by choosing this payment method, Sim Carimbo issues the respective payment references to be used in Multibanco (selecting the Payment of Services option). With simplicity and security, you can then proceed to payment at any Multibanco terminal or Home-banking.
Bank Transfer: you can pay for your order by bank transfer to the NIB of Pessoas & Gravuras Unip. Lda. (Owner of Sim Carimbo). The bank details will be presented at the end of your order.
MBWAY (Portugal): MB WAY is the solution that allows for instant transfers, online and physical purchases, generating MB NET virtual cards, and even withdrawing money through your smartphone, tablet, or PC. Payments/money transfers should be made to the number 926103657.
All purchases made at Sim Carimbo require full and upfront payment at the time of purchase. To expedite the order process, please send us proof of transfer or proof of payment from a Multibanco ATM (for example, through your bank's email system, a scanned copy, or a digital photograph of the receipt) to simcarimbo@gmail.com.
Credit cards are managed through an independent payment system, Wix Payments. This system is fully compatible with PCI DSS, which is one of the highest security standards for companies that accept credit card payments.
5. Prices
Prices are in euros. All prices shown include the VAT value at the current legal rate in Portugal.
Product prices may change without notice and may be subject to promotions or special prices according to their respective regulations.
In the event of any error in identifying the price of an item in your order, we will send a notification by email, which should be followed by a refund or adjustment of your order, upon communication.
6. Resolution of the Contract
After receiving the order, the Customer has a period of 14 days from the day on which the Customer or a third party indicated by the Customer acquires physical possession of the goods, to resolve the purchase and sale contract entered into on the website www.simcarimbo.com.
The exercise of the right of resolution depends on the verification of the following conditions:
a) Return of the purchased items in proper condition, within the original packaging in which they were sent;
b) Customized and perishable products cannot be returned unless the product is defective or is a manifest error of Sim Carimbo;
c) In the case of a refund request for a discounted item, due to a special offer or promotion, Sim Carimbo will only refund the amount actually paid by the customer;
d) In returns, shipping costs will be paid by the customer, except in cases where Sim Carimbo assumes responsibility;
e) The items to be returned must be sent to the address indicated in point 7, within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the order by the Customer. The date of return corresponds to the date stamped on the day the order is returned.

In the event of a contract resolution with the return of the ordered items under the conditions mentioned above (Point 6), Sim Carimbo undertakes to refund the customer within 14 days from the date of receipt of the Customer's decision to resolve the Contract, for the amount corresponding to the price of the product(s) listed on the sales invoice, without any charge to the Customer.
When the customer returns the items, if any of the components of the item sold are missing, or if any of them are not in excellent condition, there will be no refund of the price, and the product will be returned to the customer. The refund only proceeds after this confirmation. Shipping costs will be paid by the customer.
8. Warranty, manufacturing defects and malfunctions
For products in general:
The procedures for activating the warranty vary depending on the brands. These procedures are sent along with the products and should be adopted in case of malfunction or manufacturing defect. Keep your purchase invoice during the entire warranty period.
9.1 Changes
Sim Carimbo reserves the right to make changes to the content available through the website www.simcarimbo.com at any time and without prior notice, particularly with regard to products, prices, specifications, general conditions, commercial conditions and others.
9.1 Changes to work already performed
Requests for changes to work already performed will only be accepted if something was misrepresented by Sim Carimbo.
After the work is completed, requests for changes to elements that are not included in the files sent at the time of ordering will not be accepted. See point 2.
10. Responsibility
All articles sold on www.simcarimbo.com comply with Portuguese legislation.
The items sold are described and presented with the utmost accuracy possible. If, despite all our precautions, errors occur, Sim Carimbo assumes no responsibility for such.
All our manually operated products, particularly stamps, are tested beforehand. The final result may be influenced by their incorrect use or by external elements to our product, such as the use, ink or printing/marking support used, for which we are not responsible.
We assume that all designs sent for customization are the intellectual property of the client and/or that they possess the respective rights to it. All content reproduced in our customized materials is the sole responsibility of the client.
Sim Carimbo is not responsible for any damages resulting from interferences, interruptions, computer viruses, malfunctions or disconnections of the operating system that may temporarily prevent access, navigation or the provision of services to clients.
11. Smile Loyalty Program
The Smile loyalty program is operated by Smile.io Inc. and is subject to their terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the management or operation of the program, including the distribution of points or any errors or technical issues that may arise. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy and reliability of our point distribution system, but we cannot guarantee that the system will be error-free. We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by the use of the Smile loyalty program or any technical issues related to the program.
Participation in the loyalty program is optional, and you can choose to opt out at any time by contacting us or using the unsubscribe link provided in our communications related to the program.
In addition, we reserve the right to terminate or modify the Smile loyalty program at any time, without prior notice.
Sim Carimbo values the protection of your personal information and complies with applicable data protection laws. If you have any questions or concerns about the use of your personal information through the Smile loyalty program, please contact us or refer to the Privacy Policy.
12. Privacy and personal data protection
The computerized processing of the collected data is done in compliance with Law 67/98 of October 26, on the Protection of Personal Data, and it is intended for the processing of orders and communication with customers, processing requests for information and any complaints, statistical analysis, as well as their use for direct marketing purposes.
Sim Carimbo will not transmit to third parties the personal data provided by the customer.
The customer is guaranteed, under the terms of the law, the right to access and rectify any data concerning them in the database, through the following means:

13. Scope
These conditions apply to all products available for sale in the Online Store.
The availability of items is valid within the limits of available stocks.
14. Resolution of Consumer Conflicts
14.1 Complaints
The Customer may submit any contractual conflicts directly to Sim Carimbo or to the arbitration and mediation mechanisms that are legally constituted.

14.2 Disputes
